How do we authenticate?
INTAKE & STORY
Each piece arrives with a history. We record consignor details, note any receipts or service papers that are provided, and confirm that the item fits our curation and condition standards.
BRAND SIGNATURES
We study hallmarks, stamps, engravings, logos, fonts, serials and the placement of labels and embossing, comparing them with trusted brand references.
Materials & Build
Leather grain, textiles, lining, stitching, edge paint, glazing, hardware weight, and finish are examined to ensure they match authentic construction for that house.
Movement & Settings
For watches and jewelry, we review movements, serials, stone setting and metalwork. When appropriate, we work with our certified laboratory partner for a formal report.
Condition Grading
We place each item on a clear condition scale and record any notable wear in both words and photographs. Pieces are cleaned with care, never over restored.
Final Approval
Only pieces that pass our checks are approved for listing. We verify that descriptions, photos and included accessories such as cards, dust bags and boxes match the actual item you will receive.
