Regularly trim the wick to 0.6 cm before each use to avoid excessive soot and uneven burning and ensure a draft-free environment to prevent flickering. When done, extinguish the candle by gently dipping the wick into the melted wax to avoid splatter, and once the wax has solidified, carefully remove any residue from the ceramic holder using a scraper.
